We operate out of Floyd, Virginia located in the New River Valley about an hour southwest of Roanoke.
It depends on the species you are targeting. Trout fishing on the Smith River is year-round. Our typical season for smallmouth bass on the New River lasts from April through October, while we generally target walleye and muskie from October through March.

This varies trip to trip. Your guide will contact you prior to the trip to discuss the meeting and shuttle arrangements, based upon water conditions and the species you are targeting.
A deposit is collected at the time of booking with the balance due on the day of your trip. A 20% tip is customary.
Besides visiting the quaint town of Floyd, there are lots of opportunities to explore the outdoors, including hiking at the New River Trail State Park and sight-seeing along the Blue Ridge Parkway.
